Head and neck:
Obliquely truncate prominent snout; irregular scales covering the head with small tubercles/ keels; 8-11 scales from eye to eye (forehead)

Body:
Dorsal scales are keeled forming oblique lines; Dorsum is reddish brown with series of large dark brown spots with black edges (may form irregular lines); ventral is yellowish with dark brown spots; snout to vent length = 68 cm
