Head and neck: Grey; dorsal of head is covered with large bony plate; two small barbels on chin; flattened tubercles in front of tympanum.

Body
Carapace- brown to black; round to oval in shape; usually with vertebral keel; widest behind the center; cervical scute well-developed; vertebral broader than long; 5th smallest; 2nd largest; posterior rim slightly serrated


Plastron- white to yellow; long and narrow; anal scutes notched; tapering on front and back.


Limbs and tail: grey.
