Head and neck: brown; head large, elongated, distinct from neck; snout tapering; dark line from snout to crown; broad dark band in front of eye; broad brown temporal stripe; iris orange; pupil vertical.

Body: very mascular, relatively short python; dark brown longtitudinal blotch with light-colored round or oblong spots; sides with blotches with dark brown or black spots; tail dark brown; tail tip pointed.
