Head and neck: head slender, slightly distinct from neck, black; yellow band on dorsal of head; snout black with white or yellow spots;


Body: red with white or yellow crossbands bordered with black crossbands; white or yellow scales are not black tipped; about half of red bands on the body is incomplete ventrally; midbody scale row 21 to 23.
