dark grey to greenish grey distinctive from neck; small round eyes oriented dorsally; dark postocular stripe reaching the sides of the neck.

Body:
moderately robust body; scale rows 23 to 25; dark grey to greenish grey with dark blotches; ventral is mottled; 47cm SVL.
