Head and neck: Head black, flattened; white band on neck; 9 upper labials, 3rd to 5th in contact with eye; 10 lower labials, 5th and 6th largest; eye small; pupil vertical.


Body: dorsal dark grey to black with white bordered scales, forming broken net-like pattern; ventral white; ventrals 197; anal plate divided; subcaudals 74, divided; tail slender, terminates in a sharp point.
