Alocasia micholitziana sander


Description:
Terrestrial herb to c. 50 cm tall. Stem decumbent, c. 50 cm long, 4 cm thick. Petiole to c. 45 cm long, sheathing in lower ¼ to 1/3 of length. Leaf blade shallowly peltate, sagittate, deep velvety green on upper surface, paler below, c. 40 cm long, 13 cm wide. Midrib and primary veins white; leaf margin wavy; petioles without cataphylls near the base. Inflorescence up to 4 together;
peduncle c. 20 cm long.
