Head and neck:
Top side of the head and nape is grey; jaws and lower underside of neck is milky white; pale streak behind the eyes; prominent fleshy tube-shaped nose

Body:
Carapace -grey in coloration; moderately domed; no scutes visible, carapace covered with velvet-like skin; noticeable thin middle keel along the whole length of the carapace;
Plastron -Cream or white in color

Limbs and tail
Limbs are paddle-shaped, similar to marine turtles; forelimbs and hindlimbs have two claws each; hind legs and tail have skin folds that are C-shaped; tail is short.
