Obliquely truncate prominent snout; rostral broader than deep; head covered with small irregular scales, either with tubercles or keeled; 10 to 14 scales between the eyes (forehead)

Body:
Dorsum color ranges from olive to greyish brown with marks and stripes may be brown, reddish or black; abdomen is usually yellowish with spots or black marbling; snout to vent length = 87 cm
