Head and neck:
White mask across the forehead; a small white patch under each eye; a white spot on each side of the nostrils; narrow dark line between the eyes; muzzle and ears black; snout long and pointed, narrower than Prionailurus javanensis.

Body:
Long, stocky body is covered with coarse, shaggy grey fur; three rows of black markings on the body

Limbs and tail:
hindfoot 6.2 to 7.0 cm; lower legs and tail black, without bands; tail length 34 to 41 cm.
