Head and neck:
Head is narrow with long and protuding snout; neck is long; eyes are almost at the top of the head;
upper jaw is not hook-shaped; green to dark coffee in color and covered in small white to cream spots; noticeable black lines in ray patterns coming from the eyes

Body:
Carapace -oval in shape, longer than wider; front portion of the sides are smooth and do not have tubercles; carapace margin is smooth; greenish to grey in coloration with black ring markings.
Plastron -whitish in color with or without blotches; markings fade with age

Limbs and Tail: Three claws on each foot; tail short.
