Head and neck: a conspicious red and yellow marking on each side of temple in contact posteriorly to form a V-mark; neck with pale yellow stripes; jaws pale yellow; dorsal of head divided into large scales.

Body: Carapace - brown to greyish green; interrupted red or orange median keel; vertebral scutes with black spots posteriorly; spine-like projection with black tip on the third vetebral scute.
Plastron: yellow with a large black blotch on each scute.

Limbs and tail: brown to greyish green with small yellow spots; all digits are webbed.
