Mauremys reevesii


Head and neck: dark brown to dark grey; top of head is subdivided into small scales; the upper jaw is slightly notched and hooked; cheek and neck with short yellowish stripes.
Body
Carapace - light brown to greyish brown; oval and low-arched; three keels that are more or less parallel; no serration in the marginal scutes; adult males tend to become darker with age.

Plastron - dark brown to black, hingeless; no notches on gular scultes; notch on anal scutes; seams light yellow.
Limbs and tail: Limbs dark grey to black; digits fully webbed; tail dark colored, moderate in length.
