Head and neck: brown or grey with dark brown blotches and markings; head triangular, distinct from neck; light brown V-shape marking on top of head; dark bar behind eye.

Body: brown or grey; dorsal with 23 to 30 dark brown blotches with black border dorsal scales strongly keeled; ventral off-white or pale yellow with scattered dark spots; midbody scale rows 27 to 33; ventrals 153 to 180; anal plate single; subcaudals 41 to 68.
