Head and neck: head yellow to black; O-shaped marking on the nape; throat pale yellow with dark markings; upper labials 7, 3rd and 4th in contact with eye; 2 preoculars; 3 postoculars; loreal absent.

Body: dorsal yellow, brown to black; ventral dark brown or grey; midbody scale rows 19 to 21; ventrals 164 to 197; subcaudals 43 to 58.
