Head and neck: black; head small, not distinct from neck; rostral rounded, may be reddish orange; eyes small; loreal absent; 6 upper labials, 3rd and 4th in contact with eye; 7 lower labials.


Body: black with narrow white crossbands; midbody scale rows 15; ventral anternating bright reddish orange and black; tail short, pointed tip, bright reddish orange; ventrals 197 to 257; subcaudals 19 to 23.
