Head and neck: large, wedge-shaped; reddish brown; short broad black bar behind eye; pupil round; dorsal of head dark

Body: robust, reddish brown with dark transverse bands

Limbs and tail: Limbs short, muscular, reddish brown with black scales; tail muscular, dark with scattered reddish brown scales.
