Varanus cumingi


Head and neck: Combination of bright yellow and black; chin is yellow without dark bars or crossbands; pronounced black streak extending from the eye to upper margin of the tympanum; enlarged occipital scales around the pineal organ.

Body:
Dorsal - black, with 5 to 6 indistinctive yellow transverse rows.
Ventral - yellow, with 8 to 15 dark bars or crossbands; distinct longitudinal black ocelli on the ventral side of the tail; 43 cm SVL

Limbs and tail: tail with alternating yellow and black bands.
