Head and neck: cranial casque low; labial scales white (male), same color ad head (female); eye conical; tongue very long; gular crest low; rostral process slight protruding beyond snout.


Body: Moderate to large chameleon; sexually dimorphic; color of males highly variable - green, blue, pink, orange, red; with or without vertical bars; females brown to orange; dorsal crest low.

Limbs and tail: Zygodactyl; tail prehensile, same color as body, with dark bars.
