Head and neck: head as broad or slightly broader than body; snout strongly tapered; upper labial 10 to 13, 8th to 10th under center of eye.


Body: light brown to grey with three to four irregular dark bands; SVL 5.5 to 8 cm (male), 6.4 to 9.4 cm (female); moderately slender; slightly depressed; preanal pores (male) 7-11; midbody 15 to 10 conical tubercles; ventral with flat scales

Limbs and tail: digits relatively long, without webbing; tail sub-cylindrical.
