Head and neck: snout broad; post occipital scale usually 6, ranges 4 to 6; ridge onto snout, not tip

Body: Greenish brown to dark grey with dark spots or transverse bars; 3m in TL; ventral scale row 22-26; females 1.5m TL.

Limbs and tail: Limbs with dark spots; web on hindfeet less incised; tail with broad black vertical bars.
