Head and neck: Forehead to eye with black band; throat with large black spot (bearded); Forecrown greyish blue; head bluish grey; nape greyyish green; upper bill orange with yellow tip (male), dark grey (female); lower bill black.

Body: Back and wing greyish green; wing coverts yellowish green; breast and abdomen greyish purple .

Limbs and tail: Legs and feet grey; tail long, turquoise blue; outer tail feathers green.
