Head and neck: Forehead and face blue; midcrown and nape bluish green; throat yellow; bill small, black.

Body: Upper back and wing yellowish green; inner lesser wing coverts reddish brown (male), green (female) ; median and outer secondaries light blue; primaries dark blue; breast yellow (male) yellowish green (female); abdomen and undertail coverts yellow.

Limbs and tail: Legs and feet grey; tail greyish green.
