Body: Male - Overall green; sides of breast red; primary coverts and primaries purplish blue; Female - mantle, lower breast and abdomen purple; overall red; primaries purplish blue.

Limbs and tail: Legs and feet grey; tail green (male), red with yellow tip (female).
