Head and neck: Head bright red; ear coverts greyish or yellowish white; nape grey; side of neck and throat grey with white edges (scalloped pattern); skin around eye white; eye brown; bill black.

Body: Overall green; breast grey with white edges (scalloped pattern); abdomen greyish red; primaries turquoise blue with grey tip.

Limbs and tail: Legs and feet grey; tail green with dull red tip.
