A medium cockatoo; 33-40 cm TL; 360-480 g. Head and neck: Head pinkish white; crest curving forward, white with broad red and orange band on lower part; eye dark brown (male), red (female); bill grey or black.

Body: Overall white; breast pinkish white.

Limbs and tail: Kegs and feet grey; tail white.
