A small to medium cockatoo; 36-39 cm TL; 430-580 g; sexes alike in appeaerance. Head and neck: Crest medium length (6.5 cm), white; diagnostic short bill, bluish at base, light grey; lores pinkish; eye ring, wider below eye, greyish blue; eye dark brown.

Body: Overall white.

Limbs and tail: Legs and feet grey; underside of tail yellow.
